Read a Weibo post with an AI agent
Turn a Weibo / 微博 link into text an AI agent can read: the post's text, author and date, repost / comment / like counts, every photo, the video, topic tags and the top comments. No login, no cookies.
Why this one is hard
Weibo answers a first request with a JavaScript visitor session (Sina Visitor System), and it refuses the same cookies replayed from outside a browser — {"ok":0,"errno":"100015"} — so a cookie jar scraped from a page is not enough. There is no oEmbed and no public embed player to fall back on. What works is the visitor page itself in a browser: Weibo hands a logged-out browser a guest session of its own accord, and m.weibo.cn/detail/<id> then carries the whole post in a $render_data block.
What comes back
Post text (emoticons keep their names), author, date, repost / comment / like counts, every photo, the video and how long it is, topic tags, and the post's top comments.
Plus the metadata every digest carries: title, author, platform, posted date and the source URL. Post links read through Weibo's own visitor page — no login. Text, every photo, video, reposts. A post only signed-in followers can see (关注可见 / 好友圈) says so instead of guessing and is not charged; if it carries a video, the extension reads it from your own signed-in tab, the way a Douyin video is read.
Use it
Paste a link like weibo.com/<user>/<id> or m.weibo.cn/detail/… into the console, or let an agent call it directly.
